3 things you might not have known about Atlanta

Living in Atlanta has some obvious (and incredible) perks. But did you know there’s more to our area than meets the eye? I've lived here since the 1st grade and here are some little known facts about my hometown, Atlanta:

1. Really, everyone is nice. Southern culture is a real thing that is very much alive here. Grocery store clerks, strangers on the street, people at dog parks... here in Atlanta you'll at least get a smile and nod.

2. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International is literally the world’s busiest airport. It's easy to get out of town if you live here. Why? Because Atlanta is a perfect location. It’s just a three-hour flight from many major American cities.

3. Our nickname is the City in the Forest. It's a well deserved name as the tree canopy covers almost half of the city. It gets hot here, but it's shady here too. And very green.

⁣Atlanta is a beautiful, culturally rich place to call home. If you’d like a tour (virtual or in-person) or are curious about what it’s like to live here, send me a message!

And local friends, what are your favorite things about our city?
