Atlanta Holiday Events 2021
Atlanta comes alive this time of year with a huge helping of the holiday spirit. There are so many events sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming. But if you are looking to get out for a holiday date or to make some memories with friends and family, here are my top picks for fun holiday outings in Atlanta.
Avondale Tour of Lights and Holiday Market // Sunday - December 12, 2021 / 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Avondale is a cute little neighborhood just outside of Atlanta and Decatur. It has a sweet little lake with a clubhouse, stop by their holiday market and check out all the fun lights throughout the area.
Winter House at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center - they offer tons of workshops, photos with Santa, live music... all month long. Just going to Callawolde and walking the grounds is fun in and of itself. Go check it out if you haven’t been!
The Atlanta Botanical Gardens is all lit up and ready for you! Daily through Jan. 15th. This is a popular one so make sure you get advance tickets.
Lounge on the roof of Ponce City Market - chill in igloos or skate on the rooftop ice rink. There’s also a seasonal Holiday Social Bar. I’ve never done this but it’s on the list this year! Plus you can get some holiday shopping done while you’re there.
Indie Craft Experience Holiday Market - December 4th, 11-5 p.m. at the Works. Find your favorite indie, offbeat, and unique holiday gifts here! The Indie Craft Exchange hosts award-winning craft and vintage markets.
Know of something coming up I didn’t mention? Reach out and let me know!
