Budget-friendly Atlanta home hacks this winter

As we move into our (hopefully!) mild Atlanta winter and spend more time indoors, it can be a nice treat to make some budget-friendly updates to your home! No hammers or contractors are required here.

Here are my ideas, and I'd love to hear yours as well. Send me a note to share some recent updates you've done!

๐ŸŽจ Paint your old, worn-out front door a warm, earthy hue that compliments your homeโ€™s shutters and exterior.

๐ŸŒฟ Brighten up your living room with a fresh house plant or two, new throw pillows, and chunky, cable-knit throw blankets.

๐Ÿ’ก Replace discolored recessed lights with energy-saving LEDs. So easy and makes a huge difference!

๐Ÿคฉ Create a bold statement wall with paint or wallpaper that suits your personality and pairs well with your furnishings. We did this in our Decatur home and LOVE it.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ Install new cabinet hardware in the kitchen and add color with a small, colorful rug.

๐ŸŒธ Add some pansies in a pot by your front door. They grow well in the Atlanta hardiness zone, don't mind the cold, and will brighten things up a notch!
