Top trends in real estate that every Atlanta home seller should know

If you're thinking about selling your home in the Atlanta area (or just curious about the latest real estate trends), this one's for you!

I've put together a list of the top 3 trends you need to know. From virtual staging to home presentation to understanding the current market, these insights will help you stay ahead of the game and get your Atlanta home sold.

  1. Virtual staging is on the rise. Virtual staging takes the hassle and grunt work out of staging - plus, it’s alot more affordable. Agents or sellers take photos of a room (or an entire home) and use software to add 3D design items (like couches, beds, plants, etc.) to give the space a lifelike appearance.

  2. Home presentation and condition are a big deal. Nervous buyers and high mortgage rates mean your home has got to look its best when hitting the market. Repairs, fresh paint, decluttering, and staging (traditional or virtual) are a must this spring. This is huge. You absolutely can’t skip this one.

  3. Homes may take a few more days to sell. Compared with a year ago, homes are spending an additional 20 days on the market on average. Your home will sell, alright, but you’ve got to be patient and have realistic expectations.

⏰ That “perfect moment” often comes in late spring — specifically May — when over the past ten years, sellers have seen added 12.6% boost in the sale price, according to ATTOM Data Solutions.
